Route Description - Misool - Wayag
11 Days 10 Nights
Located off West Papua’s northwestern tip, Raja Ampat sits in the heart of the Coral Triangle. This remote archipelago of over 1,500 islands surrounds the four main islands of Waigeo, Batanta, Salawati, and Misool. Its underwater biodiversity is unrivaled—offering pristine reefs, rare marine life, and exceptional dive experiences.
Day 1: Sorong – Embarkation
Guests were met at the airport and transferred to the vessel, beginning the cruise with a sail to Misool.
Day 2: Misool – 4 Dives
The first dive at Magic Mountain revealed mantas and reef sharks. Boo Window offered dramatic swim-throughs, while Tank Rock impressed with massive groupers and dense fish schools. The day ended with a night dive at Wayil.
Day 3: Misool – 3 Dives + Hiking
Divers explored the vibrant pinnacles of Four Kings, the fish-packed Barracuda Rock, and the sea fan-lined walls of Gorgonian Passage. In the afternoon, guests hiked to Love Lagoon for panoramic views.
Day 4: Misool to Fam – 2 Dives
Farundi Cave showcased colorful caverns and walls, while Three Sisters delivered encounters with turtles, seahorses, and reef critters. The boat continued north to Fam.
Day 5: Fam Island – 4 Dives
My Reef featured big schools and strong currents. Melissa’s Garden amazed with dense coral formations. Keruo Channel hosted diverse marine life, and a night dive at Galaxy Reef capped the day.
Day 6: Wayag – 3 Dives + Hiking
Wayag offered crystal-clear lagoons and dives at Batu Delapan, Batu Luar, and Wayag’s Corner, all rich in pelagic life. A short trek provided stunning views of the iconic karst islets.
Day 7: Kawe – 4 Dives
Lone Tree Rock and Eagle Rock delivered fusiliers, sharks, and mantas. Black Rock’s coral gardens dazzled, and the night dive at Ju Island featured rare critters like walking sharks and ghost pipefish.
Day 8: Yanggefo – 4 Dives
Mayhem Reef lived up to its name with swirling schools of fish and wobbegongs. Citrus Ridge and Mangrove Point revealed colorful coral and macro life. A night dive followed at BJ Reef.
Day 9: Mansuar Island – 4 Dives
At Manta Ridge, divers encountered graceful mantas. Sawandarek Jetty offered turtles and macro life, while Cape Kri stood out with record-setting biodiversity. The night dive took place at Friwen Reef.
Day 10: Dampier Strait – 2 Dives
Blue Magic impressed with pelagics and potential oceanic manta sightings. Mioskon featured an easy dive with healthy coral and diverse marine life. Paperwork was completed in Waisai before sailing to Sorong.
Day 11: Sorong – Disembarkation
After breakfast, guests were transferred to the airport for onward flights, ending a remarkable diving journey through Raja Ampat.
