Route Description - Wayag - Central Raja Ampat
11 Days 10 Nights
Located off the northwestern tip of West Papua, Raja Ampat lies at the center of the Coral Triangle. This remote archipelago of over 1,500 islands and reefs is a marine paradise, offering an unmatched array of biodiversity and a dreamscape for divers.
Day 1: Sorong – Embarkation
Guests were welcomed in Sorong and transferred to the vessel, beginning their journey with a sail to Waisai for check-in.
Day 2: Dampier Strait
Diving began at Mioskon with reef sharks and vibrant coral. Blue Magic delivered pelagics and potential manta sightings, while Sardine’s Reef exploded with life. The day ended with a colorful night dive at Batu Lima.
Day 3: Dampier Strait
Cape Kri dazzled with record-breaking biodiversity. At Chicken Reef and Otdima, divers spotted everything from critters to cruising mantas. The night dive at RADL House Reef revealed a rich variety of nocturnal marine life.
Day 4: Arborek
Manta Sandy lived up to its name, followed by schooling fish beneath Arborek Jetty. Lalosi offered more reef action, while Tanjung Putus hosted sharks and swirling barracudas on the night dive.
Day 5: Yanggefo
Mayhem Reef showcased fusiliers, wobbegongs, and strong currents. Citrus Ridge resembled an aquarium with glassfish and sweetlips. After Tanjung Yanggefo, the boat sailed north to Wayag.
Day 6: Wayag
With mushroom-shaped karst islands as a backdrop, dives at Batu Delapan and Batu Wayag revealed sharks and pelagics. A hike to a panoramic viewpoint followed, with a final night dive nearby.
Day 7: Urani
Magic Rock and Y Reef served up sharks and schools of fish, while Lone Tree Rock offered mantas, fusiliers, and pygmy seahorses. The day ended with a peaceful night dive at Teluk Air.
Day 8: Kawe
At Chango and Eagle Rock, divers experienced vibrant reefs and pelagic life. Wofoh added macro wonders and reef diversity. The boat then cruised to the Fam Islands.
Day 9: Fam Island
My Reef and Melissa’s Garden revealed dazzling coral gardens and schooling fish. After a dive at Kerui Channel and a scenic hike, the day closed with a night dive at Galaxy.
Day 10: Mansuar
Sawandarek Jetty offered encounters with green turtles and giant clams. At Yenbuba Corner, coral-rich shallows swarmed with reef fish. The boat returned to Waisai, then set sail for Sorong.
Day 11: Sorong – Disembarkation
Guests disembarked in Sorong after breakfast, leaving with unforgettable memories of Raja Ampat’s extraordinary underwater world.
