The Sea of Cortez is a stunning blend of ocean and desert, teeming with life. For nearly 50 years, the team has explored this vibrant ecosystem, where 80–220 whale sharks gather annually in Bahia de Los Angeles from May to early November. While whale sharks are a highlight, guests may also encounter sea lions, giant finback whales (second only to blue whales), and, with luck, orcas—especially in July and August, when 20 orca sighting days were recorded in August 2023. Five full dive days at signature sites including El Canyon, The Boiler, Red Rocks, Roca Partida, Cabo Pearce, Punta Tosca, and Roca O’Neal. Up to four dives daily (weather, navy inspections, and site traffic permitting). Highlights include giant manta encounters, playful dolphins, schooling sharks, and abundant marine life. Additional activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, or relaxing in the hot tub are available.

Day 8
Return voyage to Cabo San Lucas. A day to review photos, share stories, and relax on board.

Day 9
Disembark in Cabo at 8:30 am.
