Pindito is more than a liveaboard; it is a pioneer in Indonesian scuba cruising, offering premium exploration with decades of experience. Owner and operator Edi Frommenwiler envisioned Pindito as a vessel for discovery, and that legacy continues to shape the ship’s design, crew, and routes. Built in the traditional Indonesian phinisi style, this 142-foot wooden vessel with a 29-foot beam combines safety, comfort, and adventure while sailing through some of Indonesia’s most remote and breathtaking diving destinations.

Pindito accommodates up to 16 guests in eight comfortable cabins, consisting of six double cabins and two twin cabins. Each cabin is equipped with individual air conditioning, an ensuite bathroom with hot and cold showers, a washbasin, and a toilet. The double cabins also include a fixed upper bunk to provide more flexibility for families or divers who prefer extra space. Twin cabins feature single bunk beds and offer generous floor space for added comfort. The cabins underwent a full upgrade in 2017 and were refreshed again in 2025 to maintain modern standards and ensure guest satisfaction.

Pindito provides divers with excellent facilities designed for safety, convenience, and enjoyment. The spacious dive deck features individual gear stations, large working areas, and rinse tanks. A dedicated camera room is available for underwater photographers, offering ample counter space, charging stations, and optimal lighting for preparing and reviewing equipment. Pindito also operates four dive tenders that allow for smaller dive groups, flexible schedules, and access to different dive sites simultaneously. Nitrox at 32 percent is available for certified divers, while non-certified guests are also well supported by the professional crew.

The ship’s crew includes over 20 experienced staff members who handle everything from dive operations to guest hospitality. Their long service history and dedication reflect the core values of Pindito: safety, comfort, professionalism, and warm Indonesian hospitality.

Pindito continues to set the standard for liveaboard diving in Indonesia, blending adventure, comfort, and professional service to create an unforgettable experience for divers seeking to explore the beauty and biodiversity of the Indonesian seas.
