The park is 200 nautical miles east of Bali and right between the large island of Sumbawa and Flores in Indonesia, all of which are part of the Lesser Sunda Islands. The Komodo National Park encompasses 132,000 hectares of marine waters making it one of the largest protected zones in the world.

Castle Rock: This offshore pinnacle is swept by strong currents, attracting white-tip reef sharks, trevally, neon fusiliers, surgeonfish, and the occasional Napoleon wrasse.

Crystal Rock: Two pinnacles with frequent shark sightings, eagle rays, and occasional dolphins. White-tip reef sharks rest under corals, and octopuses delight divers.

Shotgun: A fast drift dive through coral gardens and a deep ravine with snapper schools, ending in a “fish bowl” with manta rays before being carried by strong currents through a channel.

Komodo Island

Komodo Dragon Walk: Guests can venture ashore to explore “Komodo Dragon Territory” with guided ranger tours.

11 Days 10 Nights

Day 1
Guests board Indo Master between 12:00 and 15:00, settle into their cabins, attend a safety briefing, and enjoy dinner while cruising to the first destination.

Days 2–9
Each day offers up to four dives, starting with a light breakfast before the first dive, followed by meals, relaxation, and briefings between dives. Afternoons feature a third dive, with evenings reserved for a sunset or night dive before dinner. Guests are encouraged to join Manta Trust scientists in collecting photo ID images of mantas, contributing to vital conservation research.

Day 10
Up to two final dives are enjoyed before relaxing onboard and preparing for departure.

Day 11
Disembarkation takes place by 10:00, concluding an expedition that blends world-class diving with hands-on manta conservation.

Diving the Banda Sea’s remote islands is only possible by liveaboard. The entire region stretches from Nusa Tengarra in the south to Raja Ampat in the far north with Ceram Island at the centre. Dotted in between are the tiny islands of Banda Neira, Manuk, Nil Desperandum & Serua and Nila. The Banda Sea is a diving area that offers a wide diversity of sites and sights.

Known as the Spice Islands, the Banda Islands offer remarkable diving with visibility up to 50 metres. Highlights include the historic Fort Belgica in Banda Neira, scenic views of Gunung Api volcano, and spice plantations growing clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Dive sites boast deep walls, stunning reefs, and a variety of marine life.

Pohon Miring: A colourful reef with soft corals, Napoleon wrasses, and dogtooth tuna patrolling the wall.

Lava Flow: A coral garden thriving since a volcanic eruption in 1998.
