Route Description - Alor-Maumere-Komodo 11 Days / 10 Nights
This unforgettable expedition begins in Alor and the Pantar Strait, where pristine reefs burst with macro life, schooling pelagics, and vibrant coral gardens. In the cooler southern waters, divers may encounter mola mola, thresher, and hammerhead sharks, while dolphins and pilot whales often grace the surface. Continue to Maumere, surrounded by majestic volcanoes and mountains, and explore its diverse coral walls teeming with marine life. Conclude the journey in world-renowned Komodo, home to exhilarating current-driven dives, stunning reefs, breathtaking scenery, and the legendary Komodo Dragon.
Sample Itinerary – 11 Days / 10 Nights
Note: Schedule may vary depending on weather, sea, diving, and local conditions.
Day 1 (0–2 dives)
Guests are welcomed at Mali Airport or their local hotel and transferred to Blue Manta at Kalabahi Port. Depending on arrival time, a local check dive and optional night dive may be conducted.
Day 2–3 (3–4 dives x2 days)
Alor & Pantar Strait (Islands of Kepa, Pura, Ternate & Buaya): Experience nutrient-rich currents, diverse dive topography, and an abundance of marine life both big and small. A local village visit may replace one dive before sailing to Maumere.
Day 4 (3 dives)
Maumere: Explore Pulau Babi and Pulau Besar before sailing onward to Komodo.
Day 5 (4 dives)
South Komodo: Dive iconic sites such as Manta Alley, Cannibal Rock, and Torpedo Alley in Nusa Kode—renowned for manta encounters and rich biodiversity.
Day 6 (3–4 dives)
South Komodo & Padar Island: Enjoy some of the park’s most diverse sites, including 3 Sisters and Pillarsteen. Visit the famous Pink Beach afterward.
Day 7 (4 dives)
North Komodo: Explore Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, and Shotgun at Gili Lawa Laut—high-energy drift dives filled with jacks, sharks, and hunting action.
Day 8 (4 dives)
North Komodo: Dive Tatawa Besar & Kecil, Siaba Kecil, and Wainilu. Expect vibrant reefs, Anthias clouds, Napoleon wrasse, reef sharks, and a thrilling night dive.
Day 9 (4 dives)
North Komodo: Visit Batu Bolong and Mantas on the Moon (Makassar Reef), offering spectacular coral formations and manta sightings.
Day 10 (2 dives)
North Komodo: Final dives at Siaba Bay and either Mawan or Pengah. In the afternoon, take a guided trek to spot Komodo dragons and explore a local island. Return to Blue Manta for the final night at Labuan Bajo Port, with time to clean and dry gear, relax, and prepare for departure.
Day 11 (0 dives)
After a light breakfast (5 AM–10 AM), guests check out and transfer to a local hotel or airport for flights from Labuan Bajo to Bali or Jakarta.
