Route Description - Raja Ampat Central & South 7N
An unforgettable Raja Ampat liveaboard adventure aboard Adelaar, beginning in Sorong and sailing deep into Misool and the central islands. Divers enjoy a relaxed check dive before exploring world-class sites such as Boo Windows, Magic Mountain, Cape Kri, and Manta Sandy, with encounters ranging from manta rays and sharks to rich macro life and vibrant coral reefs. Scenic lagoons, dramatic karst landscapes, thrilling night dives, and some of the planet’s highest marine biodiversity make this journey a perfect blend of adventure, beauty, and iconic diving—ending back in Sorong with memories to last a lifetime.
Day 1 – Sorong
After airport or hotel pickup and transfer to Adelaar, the first day is dedicated to meeting the crew, settling in, and enjoying the start of the journey while sailing toward Misool. A check dive takes place at Pulau Matan, a shallow and sheltered site about an hour from Sorong, ideal for testing equipment and getting comfortable before deeper dives in Raja Ampat.
Overnight crossing to Daram (Misool region).
Day 2 – Daram & Yilliet (Misool)
Diving in the remote Daram area at sites such as Warna Bewarna, Andiamo, and Candy Store, featuring dramatic walls, soft corals, schools of fish, and striking underwater landscapes.
A third dive in Yilliet at Romeo or Juliet, known for dense marine life and beautiful reef formations.
A night dive in Yilliet to spot nocturnal creatures such as crustaceans, cuttlefish, and sleeping parrotfish. (3 day dives, 1 night dive)
Day 3 – Fiabacet, Wayil, or Pele
Based on Misool Eco Resort permissions, dive sites may include:
•Nudi Rock, Tank Rock, Whale Rock – Iconic sites with rich macro life and coral gardens
•Gorgonian Passage – A drift dive through dense sea fans, home to pygmy seahorses
•Boo Windows – Famous swim-throughs surrounded by vibrant corals
•Magic Mountain – A legendary manta ray cleaning station with pelagics
•Four Kings & Wedding Cake – Submerged pinnacles teeming with marine life
Possible excursion to Love Lake, a heart-shaped lagoon with breathtaking views. (4 day dives)
Day 4 – Balbulol
Exploration of the Balbulol Lagoon, known for dramatic limestone karst formations.
Dives at Two Tree Island, Plateau, No Contest, and Love Potion, featuring drop-offs, schooling fish, and colorful coral formations.
A scenic boat tour through the lagoon’s turquoise waters and unique landscapes. (2 day dives)
Day 5 – Yangeffo
Diving in Yangeffo, renowned for vibrant reefs and rich marine biodiversity
•Citrus Ridge – Colorful soft corals and reef fish
•Mayhem – High-energy currents with barracudas, jacks, and trevallies
•Gam Ridge – A scenic ridge dive with abundant marine life
Night dive to observe walking sharks and other nocturnal creatures. (3 day dives, 1 night dive)
Day 6 – Arborek & Mansuar
Diving at:
•Arborek Jetty – Schooling fish, juvenile batfish, and macro life
•Manta Sandy – World-famous manta ray cleaning station
•Sawandarek Jetty – Hard corals, giant clams, and large reef fish
A night dive offers opportunities to spot wobbegong sharks and cuttlefish. (3 day dives, 1 night dive)
Day 7 – Mansuar & Kri
•Yenbuba – A drift dive with fusiliers, barracudas, and turtles
•Cape Kri – One of Raja Ampat’s most famous sites, known for record-breaking fish diversity and pelagic encounters

Day 8 – Sorong
After breakfast, it is time to say goodbye. Disembarkation and assistance with airport check-in — until the next adventure.
