Route Description - Komodo and East of Flores
Unearth the hidden gem of Alor, one of the best-kept diving secrets boasting an array of incredible dive sites, from stunning muck sites and striking walls to crystal-clear waters and black volcanic sands. Encounter powerful currents teeming with thousands of vibrant reef fish.
The waters of Maumere and Alor hold treasures rivalling that of renowned dive destinations across the globe. Witness fantastic underwater topography featuring lava flows and black sand banks that shape the breathtaking marine landscape.
Explore abundant coral reefs flourishing with innumerable reef fish, swimming alongside mantas, sharks, and awe-inspiring whale sharks. Encounter unique marine species like pygmies, vibrant nudibranchs, and uncommon crabs found nowhere else on Earth.

Day1
Seven Seas crew will transfer the Guests from the Airport to the ship. After a nice Welcome briefing by our Cruise Director, cabin allocation and ship orientation will take place, Guests can familiarize themselves with the vessel, set up equipment, and get comfortable.
Day 2-3
On these days, we’ll conduct 3-4 dives, including a night dive if permitted by the authorities. We will explore the vast range of sites in the Alor/Pantar Strait, from sheer drop-offs and jutting rocks to shallow reefs, lush with vibrant corals. We’ll also witness the fascinating diving villagers of Pura Island, who dive using homemade goggles crafted from wood and glass bottle ends. Further, we may visit dive sites such as Yan Village, Clown Valley and the Pantar Strait. If we get word of whales, dolphins, or sunfish in the vicinity, we will have the chance to explore further on the tenders and snorkel if we find these magnificent creatures.
Day 4-9
During these six days, we have planned for 3-4 dives each day, including a night dive if permitted by the authorities.
Day 10
We will conduct 2-morning dives depending on guest flight schedules and by the 24-hour no-fly rule post-diving.
Day11
Regrettably, our trip culminates on this day. Start the morning by taking some memorable photos with the crew before the goodbyes. Guests will be accompanied ashore and to the airport for their flights. Please remember, that the last dive is planned on the penultimate day to ensure a minimum 24-hour interval before any potential flights.
