This 10-night “Deep South: All the Way to the Equator” itinerary offers an unforgettable journey from Hulhumalé to Kooddoo or from Kooddoo. Guests aboard the DUNE Black Manta explore remote atolls, drift through deep channels, and dive alongside sharks, manta rays, and schooling pelagics. With visits to iconic sites like Fuvamulah and Gaafu Atoll, this route promises thrilling dives and untouched underwater beauty.
Huvadhoo- Male
Day 1 – Arrival in Kooddoo
Guests fly from Malé to Kooddoo, where they board the Black Manta and settle in.
Day 2 – Gaafu to Fuvamulah
Diving begins in Gaafu’s pristine channels before heading south to Fuvamulah, famous for tiger sharks.
Day 3 – Fuvamulah
Full day diving this pelagic hotspot with chances to spot large sharks and reef fish.
Day 4 – Fuvamulah to Gaafu
A final dive in Fuvamulah, then return to Gaafu with night anchorage and possible whale shark sightings.
Day 5 – Gaafu to Laamu
Arrival at Laamu to dive colorful reefs and explore rich marine biodiversity.
Day 6 – Laamu to Thaa
Thaa Atoll offers canal dives and a night anchorage where whale sharks are sometimes seen.
Day 7 – Thaa to Meemu
Diving continues in Meemu with vibrant reef life and possible manta encounters.
Day 8 – Meemu to Vaavu
Highlights include Fotteyo Reef, famous for coral, color, and potential hammerhead sightings.
Day 9 – Vaavu to South Malé
Legendary channel dives and a visit to a local island in Guraidhoo.
Day 10 – South to North Malé
Final dives may include rays, morays, and even guitar sharks. Sunset and farewell onboard.
Day 11 – Departure
Disembark in Hulhumalé with transfer to Malé International Airport.
