This 10-night “Deep South: All the Way to the Equator” itinerary offers an unforgettable journey from Hulhumalé to Kooddoo or from Kooddoo. Guests aboard the DUNE Black Manta explore remote atolls, drift through deep channels, and dive alongside sharks, manta rays, and schooling pelagics. With visits to iconic sites like Fuvamulah and Gaafu Atoll, this route promises thrilling dives and untouched underwater beauty.
Male- Huavdhoo
Day 1 – Hulhumalé
Arrival, welcome briefing, and overnight at Hulhumalé Marina.
Day 2 – North/South Malé to Vaavu Atoll
Reef dives followed by a night dive with sharks and rays in Vaavu.
Day 3 – Vaavu to Meemu Atoll
Channel dives with possible sightings of hammerheads, eagle rays, and turtles.
Day 4 – Meemu to Thaa & Laamu Atoll
Explore thilas and coral gardens teeming with reef sharks and jacks.
Day 5 – Laamu to North Gaafu Atoll
Drift dives through deep canals with sightings of tunas and rays.
Day 6 – North to South Gaafu Atoll
Untouched reefs home to nurse, blacktip, and whitetip sharks.
Day 7 – South Gaafu to Fuvamulah
Cross the equator to dive with tiger sharks and pelagics.
Day 8 – Fuvamulah Atoll
Full day diving in this shark-rich, deep southern atoll.
Day 9 – Fuvamulah to Gaafu Atoll
Return north with a chance to spot whale sharks near the boat.
Day 10 – Gaafu (Vilingili & Kooddoo)
Final dives in the atoll’s passes, rich in reef and pelagic life.
Day 11 – Departure from Kooddoo
Disembark and transfer for domestic flight to Malé.
