Route Description - MP South Classic (Zabargad/Rocky Island/St. Johns)
8 Days 7 Nights
After arriving in Hurghada or Marsa Alam, guests are transferred to the ship in Port Ghaleb for dinner and departure the next morning. The journey begins south to Zabargad and Rocky Island, the southernmost islands in the Egyptian Red Sea, known for their vibrant soft and hard corals. Next, divers explore St. John’s, with its colorful coral gardens, drop-offs, cave passages, wrecks, and spectacular night dives. On the return north, stops include Sataya, Malahi, Abu Diab, and other sites, offering plenty of variety and frequent shark sightings. The tour concludes with a morning dive at Elphinstone Reef, where hammerhead sharks are often spotted.
Day 1 – Arrival
After arriving in Hurghada or Marsa Alam, guests transfer to the boat at Port Ghalib for check-in, dinner, and the first night onboard in the marina.
Day 2 – Departure & Orientation
The boat departs in the morning. After familiarizing themselves with the boat, guests receive a safety and equipment briefing before diving at Abu Dabab and Gota Marsa Alam.
Day 3 – Rocky Island & Zabargad
The group dives at Rocky Island and Zabargad, exploring the southernmost parts of the Egyptian Red Sea before heading to St. John’s. They dive at Gota Kebira, Habili Ali, and Umm Aruk, with a night dive at Umm Aruk.
Day 4 – St. Johns & Sataya
Divers continue exploring St. John’s, with dives at Gota Soraya, St. Johns Caves, and Sataya South, followed by a night dive at Sataya South.
Day 5 – Sheleniat & Shaab Galawa
Diving at Shaab Claude, Abu Galawa Soraya, and Sheleniat, with a night dive at Sheleniat to finish the day.
Day 6 – Return to Port
Two final dives are made at Elphinstone Reef and Marsa Shona before returning to port. For safety reasons, no diving is allowed within 24 hours of the flight home.
Day 7 – Check Out
Breakfast is served, and guests check out by 10 am before transferring to the airport or hotel.
