Route Description - Brothers/ Daedalus / Elphinestone
8 Days 7 Nights
Brothers Islands
The Brothers Islands offer an extraordinary dive experience teeming with sharks, wrecks, and dramatic drop-offs. At Little Brother, divers often witness thresher sharks visiting the renowned cleaning station, while grey reef sharks, hammerheads, and oceanic whitetips (Longimanus) contribute to the thrill. Big Brother adds to the excitement with its steep walls adorned in vibrant soft corals and the iconic wrecks of the Numidia and Aida, both of which promise compelling explorations for wreck enthusiasts.
Daedalus Reef
Located south of the Brothers, Daedalus Reef stands out for its untouched hard coral gardens and the vibrant site known as Anemone City. The reef’s true claim to fame, however, is its impressive schools of hammerhead sharks, which often make an appearance and ensure exhilarating underwater encounters.
Elphinstone Reef
Famous for its plateaus on the north and south ends, Elphinstone Reef offers excellent chances of encountering hammerhead sharks. The ever-curious oceanic whitetip shark (Longimanus) is also a frequent visitor. With stunning coral formations, the occasional napoleon wrasse, and graceful turtles, Elphinstone serves as a spectacular finale to any diving adventure in the Red Sea.
