Route Description - Best of Red Sea
10 Days 9 Nights
Daedalus Reef lies south of the Brothers and is renowned for its pristine hard coral gardens and the vibrant anemone city. What truly sets this site apart, however, are its legendary schools of hammerhead sharks, which provide divers with unforgettable and thrilling encounters.
Zabargad Island, stretching about 3.5 kilometers in length, offers a wealth of dive opportunities. A 70-meter-long nameless wreck rests between 1 and 24 meters on the sandy seabed, with its mast even visible above the surface at low tide. Divers can explore the bridge and engine room before venturing to the island’s western side, where hard coral gardens thrive, or the southern plateau, known for its striking colors and marine life.
Nearby, Rocky Island rises as a tiny speck in the sea, surrounded by a dramatic fringing reef that plunges steeply into the depths. This legendary site teems with marine life and is adorned with gorgonians, soft corals, and fan corals. It also offers the chance to encounter larger pelagic species, including grey reef sharks, white tip sharks, and occasionally dolphins.
On request, the journey can conclude at Elphinstone Reef, a site celebrated for its northern and southern plateaus. Here, divers may encounter schools of hammerheads, alongside the ever-curious oceanic whitetip shark. Spectacular corals, napoleon wrasses, and graceful turtles add to the beauty, making Elphinstone the perfect finale to an exceptional Red Sea adventure.
