Route Description - Ambon- Banda Sea 8N

Day 1: Arrival and Embarkation – Ambon
Guests are welcomed upon arrival at Pattimura Airport in Ambon and transferred to the vessel. After settling in and completing registration, a safety and orientation briefing is held. Depending on arrival times, a check dive is planned at one of Ambon's famous black sand dive sites in the Laha area.
Day 2: Suanggi & Run Islands – First Taste of the Banda Sea
The adventure begins in the Banda Sea with dives around the remote islands of Suanggi and Run. Divers are treated to healthy coral reefs, giant sponges, and the possibility of encountering unexpected marine life during 3–4 dives throughout the day.
Day 3–4: Manuk Island – The Realm of Sea Snakes
Over the next two days, the vessel anchors near Manuk Island, a remote volcanic outpost in the middle of the sea. Guests wake to the sight of sea birds circling the volcano and explore the surrounding reefs across 3–4 dives per day. Manuk’s reefs are teeming with vibrant coral, fish species, and cryptic macro life. The island is also famously home to numerous sea snakes, earning it the nickname “Snake Island.” Lucky divers may also spot elusive hammerhead sharks. The boat sails overnight northward toward the Banda Islands.
Day 5–7: The Banda Islands – Diving and Discovery
For three full days, diving takes place among the historically rich and biologically diverse Banda Islands. Sites vary depending on weather and schedule, with options including:
Pulau Run: Known for its dramatic walls and inviting white sand beach
Pulau Hatta: Offers pristine wall dives, colorful coral, and schooling fish
Banda Neira: Features abundant reefs and may include a land tour of the historic town
Pulau Suanggi: Home to expansive reef structures and lively drop-offs
Each day brings new underwater marvels and scenic island views.
Day 8: Suanggi or Nusa Laut – Final Dives
The final two dives of the journey take place either around Suanggi Island or Nusa Laut, offering one last glimpse of the Banda Sea’s rich marine biodiversity. In the afternoon, the vessel sets course back to Ambon.
Day 9: Disembarkation – Ambon
After breakfast, guests are transferred to Pattimura Airport for their onward flights. The crew bids farewell, hoping to welcome them back on another adventure.
