SS Thistlegorm
Widely regarded as one of the most iconic wrecks in the Red Sea, the SS Thistlegorm offers a truly unique diving experience. Rediscovered by Jacques Cousteau in 1956, this World War II cargo ship now rests as an underwater museum filled with marine life and historic relics. Divers can explore its holds, where wartime cargo such as trucks and motorcycles remain preserved. Highlights include the stern, still armed with machine guns, and a locomotive that lies on the seabed beside the wreck. Scattered ammunition adds both intrigue and a reminder of the site's historical significance.
Abu Nuhas
Located in the Gubal Strait, Abu Nuhas is known as the Red Sea’s "ship graveyard" and features four distinct wrecks at accessible depths. The Giannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K, and Kimon M are all encrusted with colorful corals and have become artificial reefs that support thriving marine ecosystems. Each wreck has its own character and structural appeal, attracting a wide range of marine life including fish, shrimp, octopus, and moray eels—making for fascinating and varied dives.
The Brothers
The Brothers Islands are a premier diving destination in the Red Sea, offering a thrilling combination of sharks, wrecks, and dramatic drop-offs. At Little Brother, divers are drawn to the famous thresher shark cleaning station, alongside regular sightings of grey reef sharks, hammerheads, and the bold oceanic whitetip shark (Longimanus). Big Brother complements the experience with sheer walls covered in soft corals and two impressive wrecks—the Numidia and the Aida—each offering their own dive challenges and beauty. This dynamic environment guarantees some of the most exhilarating dives in the region.
