Route Description - Trip B: Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock and Surin Island

Day 0 – Pre-Departure Registration Guests are asked to register at the Loma Diving Adventure dive school in Khao Lak by 6:00 PM the day before departure. During this time, equipment is prepared and any extras such as Nitrox (with valid certification), 15L tanks, and rental gear are organized. National park fees and additional charges are payable in cash (Thai Baht) at the dive center. Day 1 – Similan Islands & Koh Bon
The adventure begins with a hotel pick-up in Khao Lak around 7:15 AM, followed by a transfer to the harbor. From there, guests travel by day tour boat to the Similan Islands, where they board MV Bavaria. After a short briefing, the first check dive takes place. The vessel then sails to Koh Bon, renowned for its frequent manta ray sightings. Guests enjoy two more dives here—often at the pinnacle—making for a total of three dives on this exciting first day.

Day 2 – Koh Tachai & Surin Islands
The day starts with two dives at Koh Tachai, a site famous for its biodiversity, including turtles, leopard sharks, manta rays, and occasionally whale sharks. The journey continues to the Surin Islands, where two additional dives showcase the region’s rich underwater life and colorful reefs.

Day 3 – Surin Islands & Richelieu Rock
Day three features four dives, starting with a morning dive at the Surin Islands. The remainder of the day is spent at the legendary Richelieu Rock, widely regarded as one of Thailand’s top dive sites. This vibrant site teems with life year-round—from seahorses and ghost pipefish to large schools of barracuda, grouper, wrasse, tuna, and squid. Manta rays and whale sharks are also frequently spotted. After three unforgettable dives, the vessel begins its return journey via Koh Tachai and Koh Bon.

Day 4 – Koh Tachai, Koh Bon & Return
The final day begins with a morning dive at Koh Tachai, followed by a last dive at Koh Bon. After the final underwater adventure, the MV Bavaria returns to Tablamu Harbor, with arrival scheduled between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM.

After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

up to 60 days before departure 20% cancellation fee
59 - 30 days before departure 30% cancellation fee, deposit forfeited
29 - 15 days before departure 50% cancellation fee
Less than 15 days before departure 100% cancellation fee, total amount forfeited
