Route Description - South & Central Raja Ampat
Guests embark on a 11-day voyage aboard the Lady Denok Phinisi, exploring Raja Ampat’s world-class dive sites. From the sea fan forests of Daram to the marine-rich reefs of Mansuar and Kri, the itinerary includes highlights such as Andiamo, Four Kings, and Manta Ridge, along with night dives and island excursions for an unforgettable adventure.
Day 1 | Sorong – 1 dive
On arrival at Sorong’s Domine Eduard Osok Airport or from their hotel, guests are transferred to the harbor at Nusa Hamina for embarkation. Upon boarding, they are welcomed with refreshments and introduced to the crew before receiving a safety and program briefing from the cruise manager. Depending on arrival time, the check dive takes place at Matan Island en route to Misool or at Daram Island.
Day 2 | Daram Islands – 4 dives
The expedition continues at the Daram Islands, the easternmost group in Misool and part of a 300,000-acre marine conservation area. Guests dive at Andiamo, Candy Store, and Warna Berwarna, with a night dive at Yiliet Kecil, surrounded by vibrant sea fans and soft corals.
Day 3 | Warakaraket Island – 3 dives
At Warakaraket Island, divers explore Whale Rock, home to dense coral gardens, giant morays, pipefish, nudibranchs, turtles, and reef sharks. Further highlights include Boo Window and Magic Mountain (Karang Bayangan), renowned for their abundance of fish and reef life.
Day 4 | Wayilbatan Island – 4 dives
Arriving early at Wayilbatan, guests dive at Four Kings, Wedding Cake, and Barracuda Rock before finishing with a night dive in Wayilbatan Bay.
Day 5 | Balbulol Island – 3 dives
Dives at Pet Rock, Three Rocks, and Plateau reveal striking underwater topography. That evening, the vessel crosses overnight toward Central Raja Ampat.
Day 6 | Piaynemo Island – 4 dives + excursion
The day includes dives at Melissa’s Garden and Keruo Channel before guests hike to the famous Piaynemo viewpoint for panoramic island vistas. A sunset dive at Galaxy completes the day.
Day 7 | Yanggefo Island – 4 dives
Dives at Mayhem, Mangrove Ridge, Citrus Reef, and Yanggefo Bay showcase thrilling currents and the chance to encounter sharks, barracudas, and schooling reef fish.
Day 8 | Arborek Island – 4 dives
In the Dampier Strait, dives at Manta Ridge and Manta Sandy offer unforgettable manta ray encounters. Further dives at Arborek Reef and Arborek Jetty provide both vibrant reef life and an exciting night dive.
Day 9 | Dampier Strait – 2 dives
Two final dives take place at Sardine Reef and Friwen, offering lively coral gardens and bustling fish action.
Day 10 | Sorong – Disembarkation
After breakfast, guests disembark in Sorong, with transfers provided to the airport or hotel, marking the end of the journey aboard Lady Denok Phinisi.
