Route Description - Ambon, Banda Sea, Maumere Expedition (12 nights)
Dive reefs with exceptional biodiversity in the heart of the Coral Triangle. Swim with hundreds of sea snakes of the very remote Manuk Island. Explore the Banda Sea's swim-throughs and deep walls. Encounter hammerheads at current-swept sites such as Nil Desperandum. Dive the world-class muck diving sites of Ambon. Enjoy Ambon’s world-class muck diving and spot the psychedelic frogfish. Land visit to the 17th-century Fort Belgica on Banda Neira. Chance of hammerheads, thresher sharks, and even mola mola in Alor.
Day 1
Guests are transferred from the airport to the vessel, where they are welcomed by the Cruise Director. Following a welcome briefing, cabin allocation and a ship orientation, guests have time to settle in, assemble dive equipment, and familiarise themselves with the vessel.
Days 2–11
Enjoy 3–4 dives daily, including a night dive where conditions permit. During longer crossings, the schedule may be reduced to 2 dives per day.
Day 12
The final diving day includes 1–2 dives before sailing back to the harbour.
Day 13
Disembarkation in Maumere.
