Route Description - Bali/Komodo/Bali with Whale Sharks of Saleh Bay (8 days)

Day 1
Guests board Mermaid II at Benoa Harbour, Bali, between 13:00 and 15:00. After settling into their cabins and completing the boat and safety briefing, they enjoy their first dinner on board around 19:00. As the sun sets, the vessel departs on an overnight cruise toward Moyo Island, located northwest of Sumbawa.
Day 2
The day begins with two morning dives at Moyo Island’s renowned dive sites—Angel Reef, Little Angel Reef, or Panjang Reef. These sites offer encounters with giant elephant ear and barrel sponges, moray eels, longfin bannerfish, frogfish, nudibranchs, surgeonfish, snappers, and dogtooth tuna, all within calm and clear waters.
Day 3
Mermaid II continues to Satonda Island, where guests enjoy one or two macro-focused dives. In the evening, they witness the island’s famous bat emergence at sunset, followed by a night dive. The vessel then begins its overnight cruise northward toward Komodo National Park.
Day 4
Diving begins in earnest at Komodo with a highlight dive at Manta Alley, where reef mantas gather around cleaning stations. Further dives may include iconic sites such as Batu Bolong or Tatawa Kecil, offering opportunities to see reef sharks, turtles, and Napoleon wrasse. The day concludes with a night dive at Wainilu.
Day 5
Guests continue exploring central or northern Komodo with two daytime dives in current-rich environments teeming with reef life. A night dive may be offered at Gili Banta. That evening, Mermaid II sets course toward Sangeang Island.
Day 6
Dives around the active Sangeang Volcano reveal dramatic underwater landscapes with black volcanic sands and rare critters. After completing the dives, the vessel begins cruising toward Saleh Bay on Sumbawa.
Day 7
At sunrise, guests participate in a once-in-a-lifetime encounter, spending 2–3 hours swimming or snorkeling with whale sharks in Saleh Bay. Following this extraordinary experience, the vessel begins its return voyage to Bali.
Day 8
The cruise concludes with breakfast on board and disembarkation at Benoa Harbour at approximately 08:00. Complimentary transfers are provided to Denpasar Airport or to local areas including Jimbaran, Sanur, Seminyak, and Benoa.
