Route Description - Tubbataha - Cebu
This crossing bridges two of the Philippines’ most captivating dive regions, beginning in the UNESCO-protected Tubbataha Reefs and continuing through the remote southern Visayas. From dramatic walls teeming with life to hidden sites known only to seasoned explorers, each dive reveals a new layer of the archipelago’s underwater story. With an attentive crew, experienced dive guides, and tranquil moments between dives, the journey becomes more than a dive trip—it is an expedition across some of the richest seas on Earth.
Day 1: Puerto Princesa – Embarkation (No Diving)
Guests board Solitude One in the afternoon at Puerto Princesa Harbour. Following a warm welcome, orientation, and registration, the vessel departs at sunset, setting course for the UNESCO-listed Tubbataha Reefs.
Days 2–4: Tubbataha Reefs National Park (3–4 Dives per Day)
Over the next three days, guests explore the heart of the Coral Triangle. Diving features dramatic drop-offs, thriving reef ecosystems, schooling fish, turtles, and frequent sightings of reef and pelagic sharks. All dives are conducted as daylight drift dives due to strong currents.
Day 5: Cagayancillo (3–4 Dives)
The journey continues to the remote reefs of Cagayancillo, a seldom-visited area known for its pristine coral formations and diverse marine life.
Days 6–7: Dauin & Balicasag
Guests experience two days of contrasting dive environments. In Dauin, black sand muck dives reveal rare critters and fascinating macro life, while Balicasag offers vibrant coral walls and encounters with large schools of fish.
Day 8: Southern Leyte (3–4 Dives)
Diving in Southern Leyte showcases a mix of macro subjects and pelagic species, set against healthy reefs in a region that remains largely untouched and uncrowded.
Day 9: Monad & Kimud Shoals (2–3 Dives)
An early start gives guests the opportunity to observe thresher sharks at cleaning stations before day boats arrive. The final dives conclude with sufficient surface interval ahead of onward travel.
Day 10: Cebu City – Disembarkation (No Diving)
Guests awaken in Cebu City and enjoy a final breakfast onboard before disembarking between 8:00 and 11:00 AM. Transfers to Mactan-Cebu International Airport are available.
