Route Description - St. Maarten, Saba, St. Kitts - Southbound
The St. Maarten Southbound explores a multi-island Caribbean diving journey from Philipsburg heading south through some of the region’s most iconic dive destinations. The itinerary begins with departure from St. Maarten and a crossing to Saba, renowned for dramatic volcanic walls, strong currents and rich pelagic life. The journey then continues to St. Kitts, where divers explore coral reefs, wreck sites and diverse marine ecosystems. This southbound route combines intensive diving with island cruising, night crossings and optional shore excursions, before concluding in St. Kitts at the end of the voyage.
Saturday: St. Maarten
Guests board in the afternoon, followed by dinner for early arrivals or snacks for later guests. A Captain’s briefing takes place in the evening. The vessel then departs for Saba, a night crossing of approximately 2.5 hours. (Guests are advised not to schedule flights arriving after 16:00.)
Sunday – Tuesday: Saba
Up to 5 dives per day, with an optional island tour on Monday. A night crossing then takes the vessel to St. Kitts.
Wednesday – Thursday: St. Kitts
Up to 5 dives daily, with an overnight stay at mooring.
Friday: St. Kitts
2 dives followed by lunch, then return to Port Zante. An optional afternoon island tour is available, with dinner ashore and a final night onboard at dock.
Saturday: St. Kitts – Disembarkation
Guests enjoy a light continental breakfast before disembarking between 07:00 and 08:30. Luggage may be stored onboard for later departures. Transfers by taxi are available from the airport to Port Zante in Basseterre for embarking guests.
