Route Description - Ambon - Timika

Day 01 – Ambon
Guests are welcomed aboard Mutiara Laut and transferred from Telehu Port before sailing to Molana Island. The afternoon is spent snorkeling, diving, or relaxing on pristine white-sand beaches surrounded by crystal-clear waters.
Day 02 – Saparua & Nusa Laut
The journey continues to Nusa Laut, renowned for its vibrant coral reefs and exceptional diving. Later, guests explore the historic Duurstede Fort in Saparua, a reminder of the region’s spice-trade heritage.
Day 03 – Suanggi Island & Banda Neira
A morning dive at Pulau Suanggi reveals schools of snappers, Bluefin Trevally, and reef sharks. By afternoon, the yacht arrives in Banda Neira, where colonial architecture and nutmeg plantations reflect the rich history of the Spice Islands.
Day 04 – Banda Neira Islands
Guests discover the legacy of the spice trade through visits to historic Dutch warehouses and centuries-old nutmeg plantations. The day concludes with diving around the islands and an alfresco dinner beneath the stars.
Day 05 – Watubela Island
At Watubela, travelers are welcomed with the traditional Cakalele warrior dance. The island offers opportunities for cultural exploration, plantation trekking, and snorkeling among colorful reefs.
Day 06 – Tior & Uran Islands
The voyage heads toward the Kei Archipelago, where guests enjoy untouched beaches, turquoise waters, and thriving coral gardens before an overnight sail south.
Day 07 – Kei Tanimbar
A warm reception from the local community introduces guests to the culture of Kei Tanimbar. The afternoon is dedicated to relaxation amid the islands’ famous white sands and calm lagoons.
Day 08 – Kei Besar & Dranan
On the secluded island of Dranan, guests unwind beneath swaying palms, enjoy cocktails on the beach, and experience a signature barbecue dinner under the stars.
Day 09–10 – Aru Islands
Over two days, the expedition explores the remote Aru Islands, home to rare birdlife, pristine marine ecosystems, and renowned pearl waters. Each moment offers an exclusive encounter with one of Indonesia’s least-visited regions.
Day 11 – Sailing to Asmat Regency
A full day at sea allows guests to relax onboard while sailing toward Papua, enjoying the tranquility of the open ocean.
Day 12 – Asmat
Guests travel by motorized canoe through mangrove waterways to reach remote Asmat villages. Traditional drum ceremonies and cultural rituals provide a rare insight into the spiritual heritage of the Asmat people.
Day 13 – Asmat
A deeper cultural immersion continues with visits to traditional villages, where ancestral ceremonies and customs remain preserved. The day ends with a final sunset aboard Mutiara Laut.
Day 14 – Timika
The voyage concludes in Timika after a final breakfast onboard, leaving guests with unforgettable memories of Eastern Indonesia’s culture, history, and natural beauty.
