Route Description - Christmas Cruise / New Year's Eve Cruise

Celebrate the festive season on an unforgettable Maldives liveaboard, exploring vibrant atolls and world-class dive sites. This special Christmas and New Year cruise combines thrilling pelagic encounters—think manta rays, whale sharks and reef sharks—with stunning reefs, relaxing island moments, and a magical atmosphere both above and below the water.

Christmas Cruise
Guests embark on a unique tropical Christmas journey, trading snowy landscapes for white-sand islands and crystal-clear waters. The cruise combines world-class diving with festive onboard experiences and island excursions.

Throughout the week, guests explore some of the Maldives’ most iconic dive regions. The Ari Atoll offers thriving marine ecosystems, while North Malé showcases caves, drop-offs, and colourful reefs. South Malé delivers exhilarating channel dives with opportunities to encounter larger pelagic species.

Festive celebrations are woven into the experience. Guests may take part in beach games such as sandman contests, enjoy gingerbread-making sessions with onboard chefs, and relax under the stars with classic holiday films. A special Christmas Eve BBQ is held on a secluded island, followed by a traditional Christmas Day feast featuring seasonal dishes.



New Year’s Cruise
The New Year’s itinerary continues the exploration of the Maldives’ finest dive sites while adding a celebratory twist to welcome the year ahead.

Guests ring in the New Year on a private, uninhabited island, where a beach celebration unfolds under the stars. The evening features music, a DJ, and a vibrant atmosphere set against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean.

The following days continue with diving and relaxation, allowing guests to begin the new year immersed in nature, marine life, and the tranquillity of the Maldivian islands.

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time, you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have.

After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

0-29 days. No refund will be given for early departures, no-shows, and cancellations received by Scubaspa between zero (0) to twenty-nine (29) days before the booked departure date.
30 days or over. The 25% deposit is non-refundable. 75% of the full payable amount will be refunded. Scubaspa shall reimburse any balance already paid within thirty (30) days but reserves the right to deduct all related bank charges from the refund.
In the event that one of two Guests who booked a double cabin cancels his/her reservation, thirty (30) or more days before departure, the 25% deposit is forfeited and a single cabin supplement applies to the booking of the remaining Guest.

Please note: Marine park fees, surcharges etc can change and we cannot be held liable for differences in on-board surcharges. These will be confirmed at the time of booking
