Route Description - Triton Bay- Raja Ampat
12 Days 11 Nights
Day 1: Kaimana – Boarding
Guests are greeted at Kaimana Airport and transferred to the harbor, where the Aurora crew warmly welcomes them aboard and helps them settle in for the voyage ahead.
Days 2–4: Triton Bay
Diving begins in the pristine waters of Triton Bay, a protected area since 2008 and one of Indonesia’s best-kept secrets. This remote paradise offers vibrant coral reefs teeming with macro life, large schools of fish, and seasonal visits from migrating whale sharks.
Day 5: Namatote
Diving around the islands of Namatote and Sagin reveals a spectacular mix of hard and soft coral walls, home to jacks, barracuda, turtles, wunderpus octopus, and a variety of rare critters—ideal for both macro and wide-angle photography.
Day 6: Momon
The day starts with three dives on Momon Reef, a rich coral seamount in West Papua. Divers can expect to encounter Bigeye Trevally, batfish, Napoleon wrasse, barracuda, and giant trevally. In the afternoon, guests visit Kita Kita Waterfalls, where a freshwater stream flows directly into the sea.
Day 7: Pulau Pisang
Exploration continues at the remote Pisang Archipelago, located about 70 miles south of Misool. The reefs here are incredibly healthy, bursting with coral growth and marine life in a tranquil setting.
Days 8–9: Misool, Raja Ampat
The next two days are spent diving around Misool, one of Raja Ampat’s most celebrated regions. Sites like Jilliet, Fiabajet, Walib, Wajil, Jef Pele, Mesenta, and Boo offer an astounding diversity of marine life and dramatic underwater topography. The crew ensures guests enjoy multiple dives each day to fully experience this underwater haven.
Day 10: Fam Islands
Diving in the Fam Islands reveals a stunning combination of lush landscapes, colorful coral gardens, and rich marine biodiversity—an idyllic stop in the heart of Raja Ampat.
Day 11: Dampier Strait
The journey continues in the renowned Dampier Strait, home to world-class dive sites such as Mioskon, Blue Magic, and Sardines. Known for strong currents and thriving reef systems, this area offers encounters with dense schools of fish and vibrant coral formations.
Day 12: Sorong – Disembarkation
After breakfast, the Aurora crew arranges transfers to the airport in Sorong. Guests bid farewell after an unforgettable journey through some of Indonesia’s most spectacular marine environments.
