Route Description - East Flores to Bali
12 Days 11 Nights
Day 1: Embarkation – Maumere
Depending on pre-cruise arrangements, guests are transferred to the port of Maumere for embarkation. Once onboard, a general orientation is conducted, allowing guests to settle in and familiarize themselves with the vessel and crew.
Day 2: Central Komodo – Sebayur
The day begins in the central Komodo region with an introductory briefing. Guests take part in an easy and protected check session designed to ensure equipment is properly set up and comfortable. The remainder of the day is spent enjoying the surroundings, with time allocated to explore the area at a relaxed pace.
Day 3: Central & Northern Komodo
A full day is dedicated to exploring the heart of Komodo National Park. The vessel navigates through some of the park’s most renowned areas, while alternative quieter locations are selected when busier sites are encountered, ensuring an unhurried and enjoyable experience.
Day 4: Rinca Trekking & Nusa Kode (Horseshoe Bay)
In the morning, guests go ashore on Rinca Island for a guided trek in search of the legendary Komodo dragons, accompanied by local rangers who ensure safety throughout the experience. Later, the vessel heads south toward Nusa Kode, also known as Horseshoe Bay, an area celebrated for its dramatic landscapes, rich marine life, and frequent wildlife sightings along the shoreline and surrounding hills.
Day 5: Nusa Kode (Horseshoe Bay)
The day is spent exploring the remote bays and reefs of Horseshoe Bay, one of the most visually striking regions within Komodo National Park. In the afternoon, the vessel begins its journey north, stopping near Pantar Island in the evening, where guests can enjoy a peaceful night surrounded by pristine nature.
Day 6: Central Komodo & Rinca
Cruising south through the national park, the vessel visits several iconic areas around Central Komodo and Rinca. The day offers a balance of exploration and relaxation, ending with an evening experience near Wai Nilu, widely regarded as one of Indonesia’s most memorable nighttime environments.
Day 7: Northern Komodo
The vessel arrives in Northern Komodo in the morning, an area famed for its dramatic underwater topography and abundant marine life. The day continues with visits to several renowned locations, followed by additional exploration in the afternoon and evening, showcasing Komodo National Park at its most dynamic.
Day 8: Banta Island
Just outside Komodo National Park, Banta Island offers scenery and marine life comparable to the park itself. The entire day is spent exploring the area, complemented by an afternoon hill trek that rewards guests with sweeping views over the bay and a sunset backdrop of Sangeang Volcano.
Day 9: Sangeang Volcano
At the active Sangeang Volcano, guests experience a striking environment shaped by volcanic activity. The area is known for its dramatic contrasts, where dark volcanic sand meets vibrant coral growth, creating a unique and memorable setting.
Day 10: Moyo & Satonda Islands
The morning is spent around Moyo Island, an area renowned for its healthy marine ecosystem, supported by long-standing conservation efforts. In the afternoon, the vessel continues to Satonda Island, where guests enjoy time ashore at a beautiful volcanic crater lake.
Day 11: Lombok
The cruise continues toward Lombok, where the day is spent in a quieter area away from the crowds of the nearby Gili Islands. The surroundings offer a peaceful conclusion to the voyage, highlighting Indonesia’s rich biodiversity.
Day 12: Serangan (Bali)
The journey concludes in Serangan, Bali. Depending on flight schedules, luggage arrangements are handled by the crew, allowing guests to relax onboard before being transferred to the airport for onward travel.
