Route Description - Komodo Exclusive 8N (Komodo - Komodo)

Embark on Adelaar from Labuan Bajo with check dives at Sabolon Island. Explore North and Central Komodo’s vibrant reefs and encounter Komodo dragons. Head south for thrilling dives at Manta Alley and Nusa Kode, with sunset hikes and night dives. Experience Central Komodo’s dynamic currents, dive Sebayur Island, and visit the Atlas Pearl Farm. Conclude back in Labuan Bajo after breakfast.

DAY 1 – LABUAN BAJO, FLORES
Guests are greeted in Labuan Bajo and transferred to the harbour, where Adelaar awaits. After boarding, the cruise departs for Sabolon Island for two check dives before anchoring in a quiet bay. (2 dives)

DAY 2 – SANGEANG VOLCANO
At sunrise, Adelaar approaches Sangeang, an active volcano with black sand slopes and underwater volcanic vents that create a “jacuzzi” effect. A night dive and possible village visit are included. (3–4 dives)

DAY 3 – BANTA & NORTH KOMODO
The morning begins with dives at Banta Island, just outside the park. After crossing into Komodo National Park, guests enjoy afternoon and night dives in a sheltered bay. (3–4 dives)

DAY 4 – NORTH & CENTRAL KOMODO
Diving continues around Gili Lawa Laut and Darat, known for thriving reefs and vibrant marine life. At sunset, the vessel relocates for a night dive. (3–4 dives)

DAY 5 – KOMODO ISLAND
A ranger-guided trek on Komodo Island offers encounters with Komodo dragons. Diving follows at the pink beach and along Komodo’s southern coast, ending with a dusk dive in search of mandarin fish. (3 dives)

DAY 6 – SOUTH KOMODO & NUSA KODE
Two morning dives at Manta Alley reveal manta rays in nutrient-rich waters. Later, the journey continues to Nusa Kode, where dragons are often spotted along the beach. A night dive concludes the day. (3–4 dives)

DAY 7 – CENTRAL KOMODO
Known as “current city,” the Lintah Strait delivers exhilarating drift dives and frequent manta encounters. (4 dives)

DAY 8 – SEBAYUR & PUNGU
Morning dives take place at Sebayur Island before an afternoon visit to the Atlas Pearl Farm on Pulau Pungu. (3 dives)

DAY 9 – LABUAN BAJO, FLORES
Adelaar arrives back in Labuan Bajo at 7:00 AM. Guests disembark after breakfast for onward travel.

Booking Conditions / Additional Costs / Marine Park Fees

Cancellations for Individual and Group Bookings: All cancellations must be made by fax or e-mail. The date that ADELAAR receives the cancellation of the booking by e-mail or fax is the date used to determine the cancellation penalty.

Cancellation penalties for individual bookings:
More than 90 Days - Loss of deposit. Less than 90 Days - Loss of full payment Less than 60 days prior to departure: 100% of the individual cruise price.

Cancellation penalties for group bookings:
More than 91 days prior to departure: forfeit of deposit.
Less than 90 days prior to departure: 100% of the group charter price.
Once an add-in Diving Komodo Itinerary becomes fully booked and closed for further bookings, no refunds will be given for cancellations. This information will be posted on our webpage schedule, as fully booked. Individual guests are responsible for checking the website prior to any cancellation.
A passenger who has booked into a scheduled Bali to Komodo trip, and who wishes to cancel, has the option to substitute another person (not already scheduled on the trip) into his space to avoid the cancellation penalty. Passenger substitution will be allowed up to three days prior to departure.
ADELAAR will not refund any money to passengers who fail to show for boarding on the trip departure date, whether this is due to missed airline connections or from the lack of proper paperwork required to enter the country, or any other reason. If an airline connection is missed, ADELAAR will make all efforts to arrange that the passenger can join the ADELAAR at some point in the itinerary. However, the cost to do so (airfare, small boat transport to ADELAAR, or any other cost involved) is solely the responsibility of the client.
If the customer interrupts or cuts short a trip for any reason, ADELAAR is not liable to refund any money to the customer. In cases of emergency such as personal illness or accident, ADELAAR will assist in all necessary arrangements for the passenger’s return travel. However, the cost of this is to be borne solely by the passenger.
For these reasons we strongly recommend the purchase of trip interruption insurance and/or trip cancellation insurance.
