Route Description - Bali & Komodo
12 Days 11 Nights
Day 1: Embarkation – Serangan, Bali
Guests are transferred to the port of Serangan for embarkation. After settling in aboard, a general orientation is held as the vessel departs.
Day 2: Lombok – Gili Critters
The day begins with a dive briefing followed by a check dive near the Gili Islands. Though close to popular areas, these lesser-dived sandy slopes reveal a wealth of macro life—frogfish, seahorses, ghost pipefish, wonderpus, and nudibranchs.
Day 3: Moyo & Satonda
Morning dives take place along Moyo’s vibrant walls, rich in pelagics like tuna, trevallies, and occasional manta rays—thanks to ongoing conservation efforts. A relaxed afternoon dive off Satonda is followed by a scenic visit to its crater lake.
Day 4: Sangeang Volcano
At this active volcano, black sand slopes deliver superb muck diving. Sites like ‘Bubble Reef’ feature volcanic bubbles and hot springs. Look out for pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, and stunning coral contrasts.
Day 5: Banta Island
Just outside Komodo National Park, Banta boasts varied topography, from steep walls to manta cleaning stations. Highlights include ‘Banta Wall’, ‘GPS Point’, and a secret manta spot. Sunset trekking offers panoramic views, followed by a critter-rich night dive.
Day 6: North Komodo
Diving intensifies at iconic sites like ‘Castle Rock’ and ‘Crystal Rock’, where currents fuel action-packed scenes with sharks, jacks, and swirling fish. Additional dives include ‘The Cauldron’, ‘Golden Passage’, or ‘Lighthouse’.
Day 7: Central Komodo & Rinca
Diving continues at top sites like ‘Tatawa Besar’, ‘Batu Bolong’, and ‘Manta Point’. The day ends with a night dive at Wai Nilu, a cruise director favourite for its extraordinary nocturnal life.
Day 8: Rinca Trekking & Nusa Kode
A morning trek with Komodo dragons is followed by a journey south to Nusa Kode. Though colder and murkier, these waters offer top-tier critter diving among lush reefs. Wildlife sightings onshore include dragons, deer, and sea eagles.
Day 9: Nusa Kode
Three more dives in Horseshoe Bay reveal sites like ‘Cannibal Rock’, ‘Yellow Wall of Texas’, and ‘Torpedo Alley’. The day ends with a night dive off Pantar Island, often graced by starry night octopus and rare nudibranchs.
Day 10: Komodo Central & North
Another full day exploring the rich sites of Komodo National Park, including lesser-known secret spots if popular sites are busy.
Day 11: Komodo Central to Labuan Bajo
Depending on guest departure times, up to two more dives are offered before the vessel cruises toward Labuan Bajo, with a relaxing beach stop in the afternoon.
Day 12: Disembarkation – Labuan Bajo
Crew assists with check-out and airport transfers based on guests’ flight schedules.
