Route Description - Triton Bay & Raja Ampat
12 Days 11 Nights
Day 1: Embarkation – Kaimana to Pulau Dramai
Guests arrive in Kaimana and are met by the crew at the airport before boarding the vessel at the port. The boat sets sail toward Pulau Dramai, marking the start of the expedition.
Day 2: Pulau Dramai – Triton Bay’s Gateway
Triton Bay lies within Kaimana Regency’s 6,000 sq km Marine Protected Area, known for its nutrient-rich waters, vibrant soft corals, and schools of fish. After a general dive briefing and a check dive at a calm site, divers explore “Batu Jeruk,” “Tim Rock,” “Goby Gully,” and “7th Heaven,” with sightings likely to include fusiliers, bumphead parrotfish, turtles, wobbegong sharks, and colorful reef life.
Day 3: Pulau Aiduma
Regarded as Triton Bay’s crown jewel, Pulau Aiduma stuns with its biodiversity and vivid coral. Divers visit “Larry’s Heaven,” “Black Forest,” and enjoy a night dive with the chance to spot the elusive walking shark.
Day 4: Pulau Namatota & Tanjung Papisoi
Early morning snorkeling near bagans (fishing platforms) offers a chance to encounter whale sharks. In the afternoon, diving continues at “335sp Pinnacle,” named for its incredible species count. No night dive due to the overnight crossing to Pulau Koon.
Day 5: Pulau Pisang
A remote stop between Triton Bay and Raja Ampat, Pulau Pisang features pristine reefs, pelagic sightings (including manta rays and bumpheads), and macro treasures like pygmy seahorses. A nearby underwater cave teems with glassfish.
Day 6–7: Fiabatjet (SE Misool)
Diving intensifies in the heart of the No-Take Zone. “Tank Rock,” “Nudi Rock,” and “Whale Rock” are just the beginning. These coral-laden reefs teem with fusiliers, reef fish, and macro life. Due to the exceptional diving, the boat remains here a second day to explore additional world-class sites.
Day 8: Boo & Warakaraket
Diving highlights include the iconic swim-throughs at “Boo Windows,” the vast sea fans at “Hidung Boo,” and the renowned “Magic Mountain,” a cleaning station frequented by oceanic mantas.
Day 9: Wayil
The day is spent diving “Barracuda Rock,” “Wedding Cake,” and “Dunia Kecil.” In the afternoon, a scenic speedboat tour winds through limestone karsts, ending at a secluded white sand beach for a refreshing swim.
Day 10: Sel Pele
The dive site “Four Kings” features towering pinnacles swarming with marine life. After a morning dive here, the journey continues to hidden gems en route to the next destination.
Day 11: Daram Islands
A full day of diving in one of SE Misool’s most protected and biodiverse regions. Sites like “Andiamo,” “Camel Rock,” and “Candy Store” reveal bustling fish life, pelagics, and thriving macro ecosystems.
Day 12: Disembarkation – Sorong
Depending on flight times, the crew handles check-in, allowing guests to relax before being transferred to Sorong Airport for departure
