Route Description - Raja Ampat Center North 9N

Day 1: Sorong
Guests are warmly welcomed by the Aurora team upon arrival at Sorong Airport and are transferred directly on board. Depending on the arrival time, a check dive may be conducted around Laha or Tulehu Bay. These sites are famed for exceptional muck diving—some of the best macro diving in the world, rivaled only by Indonesia’s Lembeh Strait.
Day 2: Dampier Strait
The day is spent diving some of the Dampier Strait’s most iconic sites, including Mioskon, Blue Magic, Sardines, and others. Known for strong currents, the area is teeming with marine life and vibrant, untouched coral reefs. Above water, guests are treated to views of lush green islands and pristine white sand beaches.
Day 3: Dampier Strait
Exploration of the Dampier Strait continues with more dives at its spectacular sites. The nutrient-rich waters attract large schools of fish, and divers can expect exhilarating underwater action and breathtaking reefscapes.
Day 4: Dampier Strait
Another day of diving in the biodiversity hotspot of the Dampier Strait. The dynamic currents bring life and color to every dive site, making each immersion a unique experience rich in pelagics and reef dwellers alike.
Day 5: Kawe
The journey continues north to Kawe, a hidden gem of Raja Ampat located directly on the Equator. This area boasts exceptional dive sites such as Eagle Rock, Black Rock, and Changoo, all known for their rich marine biodiversity and spectacular underwater topography.
Day 6: Wayag
Diving and exploration take place in Wayag, an iconic destination famed for its dramatic limestone islets, turquoise lagoons, and narrow channels. The underwater scenery is as stunning as the surface, with vibrant coral gardens and thriving marine life in every direction.
Day 7: Wayag
Another day is devoted to soaking in the natural wonders of Wayag, both above and below the surface. Guests continue exploring its labyrinth of channels and secluded coves, with opportunities for panoramic hikes and unforgettable vistas.
Day 8: Piaynemo
Diving highlights include the stunning reef of Melissa’s Garden, known for its hard coral formations and resident wobbegong sharks. Pygmy seahorses, sea snakes, and giant tridacna clams can be spotted in the shallows. A land excursion is offered to the viewpoint above Piaynemo—one of Raja Ampat’s most iconic landscapes and a must for photo enthusiasts.
Day 9: Batanta
Batanta, one of the Four Kings, offers a haven for macro enthusiasts with its diverse array of critters. However, it’s not all small—majestic manta rays are frequently encountered here. With both big and small marine life on display, it promises an exciting and visually rich day of diving.
Day 10: Sorong
The voyage concludes back in Sorong. After days filled with unforgettable experiences both underwater and on land, guests bid farewell to the crew and fellow adventurers—until the next journey begins.
