Route Description - Raja Ampat / Misool - Banda Sea
13 Days / 12 Nights (Sorong-Ambon)
Raja Ampat, or the Four Kings, is an archipelago comprising over 1,500 small islands, cays, and shoals surrounding the four main islands of Misool, Salawati, Batanta, Waigeo and the smaller island of Kofiau. The Raja Ampat archipelago is the part of Coral Triangle which contains the richest marine biodiversity on earth. Raja Ampat is the place where coral species reach 75% of all known species and fish nearly 1,300 species. Raja Ampat is also a paradise for bird watchers. The Raja Ampat islands are a truly natural phenomenon with enormous biological diversity.
Day 1
Guests arrive in Sorong, the gateway to Raja Ampat.
Day 2–11
Up to 3–4 dives are offered daily when conditions allow. On crossing days, only 1–2 dives may be scheduled. (The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary or specific agreed services if force majeure or unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances require adjustments.)
Day 12
The final day of diving concludes as the vessel arrives in Ambon.
Day 13
After breakfast or lunch—depending on return flight times—guests check out. The crew bids farewell and arranges transfers to the airport, assisting with check-in for onward flights.
Marine Life:
Raja Ampat is home to at least 75% of all known coral species. Divers can explore a variety of underwater landscapes, including soft corals, sea fans, hard coral gardens, seagrass beds, mangroves, shallow reefs, deep drop-offs, caves, and both black and white sand bottoms. Regular sightings include giant manta rays, sea turtles, reef sharks, cuttlefish, pipefish, multiple species of seahorses, and large schools of reef fish. Unique species such as wobbegong sharks and epaulet sharks also inhabit these waters.
