Route Description - Raja Ampat South & Central
12 Days 11 Nights
Day 1: Embarkation – Sorong
Guests arrive in Sorong and are met by the crew for transfer to the vessel. No diving this day; guests relax, set up gear, and receive a cruise and dive briefing.
Day 2: Wayil
After a check dive, guests explore dive sites such as Barracuda Rock, Wedding Cake, and Dunia Kecil. In the afternoon, a scenic speedboat tour winds through limestone coves, ending at a remote white sand beach for a swim.
Day 3: Fiabatjet
Diving in Misool's no-take zone with sites like Tank Rock, Nudi Rock, and Whale Rock. These vibrant reefs are teeming with fusiliers, jacks, reef sharks, and macro life including pygmy seahorses and nudibranchs.
Day 4: Boo / Warakaraket
Guests dive the iconic Boo Windows and surrounding reefs draped in sea fans and soft corals. The day includes a visit to Magic Mountain, a cleaning station frequented by oceanic mantas.
Day 5: Daram (Misool)
Three dives in Daram’s protected marine area, known for its abundant soft corals and sea fans. Overnight sail to northern Raja Ampat.
Optional: Based on conditions and guest interest, additional dives may be offered in areas like Pele, Sagof, Farondi, or an afternoon excursion to Tomolol Cave, Jellyfish Lake, and the 1000-step viewpoint.
Day 6: South Batanta
A morning muck dive at Algae Patch reveals critters like nudibranchs, seahorses, and shrimps. Afternoon dives shift to coral gardens and a manta cleaning station near Dayang.
Day 7: Penemu
Hard coral reefs and vibrant marine life at sites like Melissa’s Garden and My Reef. After diving, guests hike to the Penemu viewpoint for sweeping lagoon views.
Day 8: Yanggefo
Drift dives at Mayhem and Citrus Ridge, followed by a unique mangrove dive, offering encounters with archerfish, cardinalfish, and juvenile reef species among submerged roots.
Day 9: Mansuar / Arborek
Dives focus on manta encounters at exclusive sites away from the crowds. A macro dive beneath Arborek’s jetty is followed by a village visit.
Day 10: Dampier Strait
World-class diving at Cape Kri, Blue Magic, and Sardine Reef. Rich in biodiversity, this region holds the world record for fish species recorded in a single dive.
Day 11: Dampier Strait
One or two final dives, based on guest departure times. Sites vary from calm coral gardens to current-swept reefs teeming with fish. Whale and dolphin sightings are possible en route back.
Day 12: Disembarkation – Sorong
Guests disembark in Sorong. The crew arranges airport transfers and handles luggage check-in.
