Route Description - East Flores & Komodo
11 Days 10 Nights
Day 1
Maumere & Kawula Island
Guests board Tiaré in Maumere and prepare for 1–2 check dives. Muck diving begins at Gosong Boni and Tanjung Gedong, home to blue-ringed octopus, pygmy seahorses, and reef sharks. Alternatively, Pulau Babi offers wall dives shaped by a 1992 earthquake.
Day 2
Palu’e Island
Diving continues at Palu’e Island, a remote volcanic island. Highlights include “The Wall in the Falls,” a dramatic drop-off with black coral bushes, reef octopus, and vibrant coral gardens in the shallows.
Day 3
Komodo Channel & Sebayur
Exploring Tatawa Besar, Sebayur, and Sabolon Islands, guests drift past orange coral walls and reef life including batfish, leaf scorpionfish, and mantas. Macro lovers can enjoy ghost pipefish and nudibranchs.
Day 4
Komodo & Padar
Dive Komodo’s signature sites like Manta Reef and Batu Bolong. In the afternoon, explore Three Sisters’ ridges and caves, followed by a night dive near Padar Island. Cooler, nutrient-rich waters offer high biodiversity.
Day 5
Nusa Kode & Horseshoe Bay
Guests enjoy 4 dives around Nusa Kode. Highlights include world-renowned Cannibal Rock, colorful Yellow Wall, and a night dive at Torpedo Bay with torpedo rays, bobbit worms, and seahorses.
Day 6
Southern Komodo
Diving at Manta Alley and German Flag offers the best chance to encounter manta rays. Afternoon dives may include Tanjung Lehoksera or Batu Gajah. The day ends with a night dive on a local wreck and possible dragon spotting from the tender.
Day 7
Komodo Island
At Pink Beach and Pulau Hantu, divers explore mini walls and sandy patches with frogfish, scorpionfish, and mandarin fish. A guided walk offers the chance to see Komodo dragons.
Day 8
Central Komodo
Tidal currents dictate dive sites, which may include Takat Makassar, Batu Bolong, or Tatawa Kecil—each rich in soft corals and pelagics.
Day 9
Gili Lawa Laut
The adventure continues at Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, and The Cauldron (Shotgun). These high-energy sites are known for sharks, eagle rays, and large schools of fish. Guests can hike for panoramic island views.
Day 10
Return to Komodo
Guests revisit favorites like Batu Bolong and Tatawa Besar, and enjoy a final night dive at Pulau
Day 11
Disembarkation in Labuan Bajo
After breakfast, guests bid farewell to the crew and disembark in Labuan Bajo.
