Route Description - Coast and Coral (13 Nights)
Coast and Coral
Broome - Kimberley - Rowley Shoals - Broome
Welcome Aboard
Guests begin their adventure with a coach transfer from Kununurra to board the luxurious True North. That evening, the vessel cruises overnight toward the majestic King George River.
King George River
With the tide high, True North crosses the river’s mouth and travels upstream to the impressive King George Falls. The bow is positioned under the falls for a refreshing natural shower, followed by a scenic helicopter flight over this Kimberley icon.
Eagle Falls
Guests visit ancient Gwion Gwion rock art, fish for mackerel in Vansittart Bay, and enjoy a helicopter picnic at Eagle Falls or explore local beaches and creeks by tender.
Hunter River
Red cliffs and lush mangroves provide a backdrop for mud-crabbing, bird-watching, and hiking to Jackson Falls. The day ends with sunset drinks at Crystal Beach in Prince Frederick Harbour.
Prince Regent River & King Cascade
After morning fishing or guided exploration, guests enjoy a scenic Heli Picnic. At King Cascade, True North moves under the waterfall before a bush walk to a billabong swim or a visit to Amphitheatre Waterfall.
Montgomery Reef
Early risers fish for barramundi before walking to Ruby Falls for a swim. A Heli Fishing adventure follows, then Montgomery Reef emerges with the falling tide, revealing a rich marine ecosystem.
Talbot Bay & Yampi Sound
Guests explore Yampi Sound, sight-casting for barramundi and other species. That evening, True North sets course for the Rowley Shoals.
Clerke Reef
At Clerke Reef, guests dive and snorkel in crystal-clear waters, explore Bedwell Island, or fish in the lagoon. The day ends with fine dining and a spectacular sunset.
Outer Reef & Journey to Broome
A full day is spent exploring the untouched outer reef before cruising overnight to Broome. Guests enjoy the Captain’s Party as the Rowley Shoals fade into the horizon.
Arrival in Broome
The journey concludes with a morning transfer to local accommodation or connecting flights, with the crew already looking forward to welcoming guests aboard again.
