Route Description - Remote Weddell Sea Explorer - incl. helicopters

An adventurous expedition explores one of the least-visited areas on Earth, Antarctica’s amazing Weddell Sea. After visiting some of the same sites legendary explorer Ernest Shackleton’s charted in South Georgia, we’ll enjoy the Weddell’s exotic wildlife and colossal tabular icebergs.

Day 1-3: End of the world, start of a journey

Day 4 – 6: South Georgia journey

Day 7-8: Sea Days

Day 9: South Sandwich Islands

Day 10-12: Southward bound

Day 13-14: Neuschwabenland / New Swabia

Day 15-23: Deep inside the Weddell Sea - Filchner, Ronne and Larsen Ice shelves

Day 24: Brown Bluff and Kinnes Cove

Day 25: Legendary Elephant Island

Day 26 – 27: Familiar seas, familiar friends

Day 28: There and back again

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time, you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have.

After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

up to and including 90 days prior to departure: 20 % of the total price;
from 89 days up to and including 60 days prior to departure: 50 % of the total price;
from 59 days up to and including the day of departure: 100 % of the total price
