Route Description - Raja Ampat - Northern

Experience the best of Raja Ampat on a 7-night/8-day or 8-night/9-day liveaboard adventure aboard the Pearl of Papua. Sail from Sorong through the world-famous Dampier Strait, dive iconic sites like Blue Magic, Melissa’s Garden, and Manta Sandy, and explore vibrant reefs filled with manta rays, sharks, and colorful marine life. Enjoy scenic hikes at Wayag and Piaynemo, village visits in Arborek, and unforgettable sunsets on deck—an epic journey through Indonesia’s diving paradise.

Day One: Sorong
Guests are advised to arrive a day early to rest in Sorong. Pickup from hotels is at 10 AM for transfer to the Pearl of Papua. For those flying in on departure day, the crew will meet them at the airport and escort them to the vessel. After orientation, the boat departs from Usaha Mina Jetty at 11 AM toward Raja Ampat. Lunch and dinner are served onboard. A check dive at Batu Hitam may be done if time allows.

Day Two: Dampier Strait
This area offers some of Raja Ampat’s most vibrant dives, known for sharks, barracuda, trevally, and dense schools of fish.

Dive 2: Mike’s Point
Dive 3: Friwen
Dive 4: Batu Lima (Night Dive)

Day Three: Tanjung Putus (Cape Break)
A day of exciting dives with diverse coral life and fish schools.
Dive 1: Mayhem
Dive 2: Citrus Ridge
Dive 3: Woffoh Besar
Dive 4: Woffoh Kecil (Night Dive)

Day Four: Wayag
Morning hike to Mt. Pindito for panoramic views, followed by snorkeling with reef sharks at Wayag Post and a beach picnic. The day concludes with a dive at Black Rock.

Day Five: Fam and Penemu
These islands feature colorful coral gardens and marine life.
Dive 1: My Reef
Dive 2: Melissa’s Garden
Dive 3: Batu Rufus
Dive 4: Piaynemo Jetty (Night Dive)

Day Six: Yanggefo and Arborek
Guests visit Arborek Village between dives to experience local culture.
Dive 1: Arborek Jetty
Dive 2: Manta Ridge
Dive 3: Manta Sandy

Day Seven: Dampier Strait
A day of jetty and drift dives among colorful reefs and abundant fish.
Dive 1: Sawandarek Jetty
Dive 2: Yenbuba Jetty
Dive 3: Sardine Reef

Day Eight: Dampier Strait
Two relaxed morning dives before returning to Sorong in the evening.
Dive 1: Mioskon
Dive 2: Blue Magic

Day Nine: Sorong
After breakfast, guests disembark by 10 AM for transfer to their next destination, marking the end of their journey.

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time, you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have.

After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

90 days or more prior to departure 100% of the first payment (35%) will be forfeited.
Less than 90 days prior to departure 100% of the total payment will be forfeited.
Cancellations within 90-0 days prior to departure: all monies on hand are forfeited.
