Route Description - Raja Ampat South
This Raja Ampat South – 8 Days / 7 Nights itinerary explores the spectacular Misool region, renowned for its pristine reefs and exceptional marine biodiversity. Divers visit iconic sites such as Magic Mountain, Boo Rock and Four Kings, encountering manta rays, reef sharks, barracuda and turtles, alongside vibrant coral gardens and rich macro life. With dramatic walls, pinnacles, lagoons and caves, this journey offers an unforgettable immersion into one of Indonesia’s most breathtaking underwater destinations.
Day 1 – Embarkation (Sorong)
Arrival in Sorong with transfer to the vessel. After welcome briefing, sail towards Misool with a check dive at Pulau Matan en route.
Day 2–7 – Misool Diving
Explore the world-class dive sites of Misool, one of Raja Ampat’s most spectacular regions. Dive across areas such as Daram, Fiabacet, Wayilbatan and Farondi, featuring coral walls, pinnacles, lagoons and caves.
Expect encounters with manta rays (including oceanic and reef mantas), reef sharks, barracuda, trevallies, turtles and napoleon wrasse, alongside rich macro life like pygmy seahorses and nudibranchs. Highlights include Magic Mountain, Boo Rock, Kaleidoscope and Four Kings, offering vibrant reefs, strong currents and abundant marine biodiversity.
Day 8 – Disembarkation (Sorong)
Return to Sorong for breakfast and disembarkation.
