Route Description - Far North Coral Sea Exploratory

7 Nights – Up to 26 Dives. This 650-mile expedition takes guests through three distinct and spectacular regions: the remote Coral Sea, the pristine Far Northern Reefs, and the vibrant, world-renowned Ribbon Reefs.

Thursday – Departure from Cairns
•8:30 am–4:00 pm: Check in at the main office (3 Abbott St, Cairns).
•4:30 pm: Guests make their way to the boarding meeting point (details provided at check-in). Dinner not included on this night—guests may wish to eat prior to boarding.
•5:50 pm: Boarding of Spoilsport begins, accompanied by champagne and light snacks.
•6:00 pm: Departure from Cairns. Guests will organise dive gear and any rental equipment on the dive deck.
Friday – Remote Coral Sea (Up to 4 dives + night dive)
Dive Sites: Bougainville – Dungeons & Dragons, Crystal Plateau, MV Antonio Tarabocchia

Typical day schedule:
•6:30 am: Wake-up call and light breakfast
•7:00 am: Dive brief & dive
•9:00 am: Full cooked breakfast
•10:30 am: Dive brief & dive (open deck allows 1–2 morning or afternoon dives)
•2:00 pm: Lunch
•3:30 pm: Dive brief & dive
•4:30 pm: Afternoon tea
•6:30 pm: Night dive brief & dive
•8:00 pm: Dinner

Saturday – Remote Coral Sea (Up to 4 dives)
Dive Sites: Osprey Reef – Admiralty, False Entrance, North Horn

Sunday – Far Northern Reefs (Up to 4 dives + night dive)
Dive Sites: TMO (Three Mile Opening), Creech Reef

Monday – Far Northern Reefs (Up to 3 dives + night dive)
Dive Sites: Stanley Island – Aladdin’s Cave, Pirate’s Cove
Includes an excursion to view Stanley Island's Indigenous rock art

Tuesday – Ribbon Reefs (Up to 4 dives + night dive)
Dive Sites: Cod Hole, Pixie Pinnacle, Gotham City

Wednesday – Ribbon Reefs (Up to 4 dives)
Dive Sites: Cracker Jack, Clam Beds, Steve’s Bommie

Farewell celebration on board as the sun sets with champagne and snacks
Overnight cruise back to Cairns

Thursday – Return to Cairns
•7:00 am: Light breakfast
•8:00 am: Disembarkation and courtesy transfers to Cairns inner city hotels, airport, or office (luggage storage available until 4pm).

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time, you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have.

After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

More than 60 days prior to departure: Deposit refundable, less 1.8% credit card transaction fee.
Between 60 – 30 days prior to departure: Deposit not refundable. Credit valid for 2 years.
Within 30 days of departure: 100% forfeit. Credits only offered for cancellations directly resulting from a pandemic; relevant documentation required.

Please note: Marine park fees, surcharges etc can change and we cannot be held liable for differences in on-board surcharges. These will be confirmed at the time of booking
