Route Description - Southern Serenity (St. John's reefs-Abu Fandira

Embark on an unforgettable journey aboard Southern Serenity to explore the remote dive sites of Abu Fandira and St. John’s reefs. Departing from Port Ghaleb, this expedition ventures into the pristine waters of the Halaib Triangle near the Sudanese border, offering world-class diving far from the crowds. Discover Abu Fandira’s 3km stretch of vibrant coral reefs teeming with parrotfish, grey reef sharks, and dolphins, then head north to St. John’s reefs, home to breathtaking sites like Habili Ali, Habili Gaafar, and Gotaa Kebir, where forests of fan corals and schools of bumphead parrotfish create a truly mesmerizing Red Sea experience.

Sunday: Two check dives to get comfortable and familiar with the environment.
Monday & Tuesday: Six dives in the St. John’s region (three dives per day).
Wednesday: Three dives in Abu Fandira.
Thursday: Three to four dives in the Fury Shoals/Hamata region.
Friday: Two final dives at Elphinstone Reef to conclude the scuba adventure.

Note: The route may vary depending on weather, safety, fuel efficiency, captain’s discretion, or port arrangements.

Booking Conditions / Additional Costs / Marine Park Fees

Your reservation request is obligation free and you can cancel anytime within the first 72 hours. During this time, you can easily find matching flights and get answers from our reservations team to any further questions you may have.

After you have confirmed and paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

Less than 30 days from departure date, payment of 100% of the total amount.
From 30 to 45 days from departure date, payment of 75% of the total amount.
From 45 to 60 days from departure date, payment of 50% of the total amount.
From 60 to 75 days from departure date, payment of 25% of the total amount.
From more than 75 days from departure date, payment of 10% of the total amount.
Note: Special cases will be considered on an ad hoc basis.
