Day 1: Arrival in Maumere & Boarding
Morning/Afternoon:
Guests arrive at Maumere Airport and are transferred to the liveaboard.
They are welcomed by the crew, check into their cabins, and receive a safety briefing.
Afternoon:
Guests relax on board as the vessel departs Maumere and sets course toward Taka Bonerate.
Evening:
A welcome dinner is served, along with an overview of the itinerary.
Days 2 to 9: Diving & Exploration in Maumere Bay, Adonara, Lembata, Pantar, Alor
Throughout the journey, guests explore diverse underwater habitats—from vibrant coral gardens to dramatic underwater slopes—paired with cultural encounters and serene remote locations.
Maumere Bay Highlights:
– Offers dive sites for all levels, from shallow coral gardens rich in macro life to deeper slopes with pelagics.
– Key locations include Pulau Besar, Dambilah, Pangabatang, and the Flores mainland.
– Marine life includes reef sharks, rays, turtles, and rare critters like frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, and ghost pipefish.
– Night dives reveal bioluminescent plankton and active nocturnal species.
– A WWII-era Japanese freighter wreck near Wai Terang adds historical intrigue.
Tanjung Gidong Highlights:
– Dive dramatic coral-covered rock formations and sloping reefs.
– Key dive sites stretch from a vibrant mini-wall to a 400-meter rubble slope leading to a current trap.
– Spot large marine life such as sharks, mantas, groupers, dogtooth tunas, and Napoleon wrasses.

Day 10: Disembarkation in Maumere
Morning:
Guests enjoy a final breakfast on board before disembarking in Maumere.
Transfers are provided to the airport for onward travel.
Important:
The last dive of the trip takes place on the penultimate day. A minimum 24-hour surface interval is recommended before flying.
