Day 1: Arrival in Kalabahi & Boarding
Morning/Afternoon:
Guests arrive at Kalabahi Airport and are transferred to the liveaboard. Upon arrival, they are welcomed by the crew, settle into their cabins, and attend a safety briefing.
Afternoon:
Guests relax onboard as the vessel departs Kalabahi and begins cruising toward Alor.
Evening:
A welcome dinner is served, followed by a briefing on the itinerary ahead.
Days 2 to 11: Diving & Exploration in Alor, Pantar, Lembata, Adonara, and Flores
Over the course of nine days, guests explore some of Indonesia’s most diverse marine ecosystems and stunning landscapes.
Alor Archipelago Highlights:
– Discover outstanding muck diving sites featuring rare critters such as rhinopias, mimic octopus, and frogfish.
– Dive into current-swept sites known to attract pelagic species including sharks and rays.
– Visit traditional villages to witness local fishing practices and the distinctive hand-weaving culture.
Pantar Highlights:
– Explore dramatic drop-offs and volcanic underwater topography.
– Encounter schooling fish, reef sharks, and macro life in pristine coral gardens.
– Take shore excursions to enjoy geothermal hot springs and panoramic viewpoints.
Lembata Highlights:
– Dive vibrant coral reefs and vertical walls teeming with marine life.
– Learn about the traditional whaling culture of Lamalera village (seasonal).
– Kayak, snorkel, or relax on beautiful, unspoiled beaches.
Adonara Highlights:
– Discover hidden dive sites with thriving coral ecosystems and rich marine biodiversity.
– Spot seasonal pelagics, including manta rays, in crystal-clear waters.
– Cruise past scenic views of active volcanoes and lush landscapes.
Flores Highlights:
– Experience colorful coral gardens and wall dives filled with life.
– Visit local communities and hike through Flores’ rugged terrain.
– Participate in optional snorkeling and kayaking excursions along the coastline.
Daily Activities:
– Up to 3–4 dives per day, including optional night dives at select sites.
– Cultural visits and shore excursions.
– Opportunities for kayaking, snorkeling, and relaxing on remote beaches.
– Activities and dive schedules may vary based on weather and guest preferences.
Day 12: Disembarkation in Maumere
Morning:
Guests enjoy a final breakfast on board before disembarking in Maumere. Transfers to Maumere Airport are arranged for onward flights.
Note: The last dive is scheduled on the penultimate day of the trip. A 24-hour surface interval before flying is strongly recommended.
