                            Day 1 - Ambon
Guests board Adelaar in Ambon and spend the first day on board cruising straight into the heart of the blue Banda Sea.

Day 2 - Ai & Gunung Api
The first day of diving takes place along the steep walls surrounding the island of Ai. From a plateau with beautiful hard coral gardens, these walls, adorned with yellow soft corals, plunge into the deep blue Banda Sea. With some luck, the first hammerhead shark of the trip may appear. In the late afternoon, everyone gathers on deck to witness the breathtaking arrival into one of the world’s most spectacular natural harbors, nestled between Banda Neira, Gunung Api, and Lonthor (Banda Besar).
3 day dives, 1 night dive

Day 3 - Banda Neira & Sjahrir
The day begins with a guided visit to the historic town of Banda Neira, including the fort, museum, and spice plantations. Guests then enjoy a traditional Bandanese breakfast before strolling back through the bustling market. One of the dives takes place on a new reef that formed naturally on the lava spur from Gunung Api’s 1988 eruption—an incredible example of nature’s resilience. In the evening, divers descend at dusk in search of the elusive mandarin fish.
2 day dives, 1 dusk dive

Day 4 - Hatta
Diving off Hatta, the easternmost island of the Banda archipelago, offers the first dedicated day to schooling hammerhead sharks. Witnessing groups that range from a few individuals to hundreds of these majestic creatures is an unforgettable highlight of the Banda Sea experience.
4 day dives

Day 5 - Sarua
The hammerhead shark site at Sarua defies description—its magnificence leaves divers speechless.
4 day dives

Day 6 - Run & Nailakka
Returning to the Banda archipelago, dives are conducted around Run, an island once considered the most desirable property in the world. Under immense pressure, the English traded Run to the Dutch in exchange for Manhattan. Today, Run remains stunning, with nutmeg trees covering the land and steep underwater slopes adorned with giant gorgonian sea fans. It is also another hotspot for schooling hammerhead sharks and pelagics. The day ends with drinks on Nailakka, a picturesque tiny island that once housed the English after they lost Run.
3 day dives

Day 7 - Manukang
Between Run and Ambon lies Manukang, a volcanic outcrop steeped in Moluccan lore as a haunted site. While its supernatural reputation cannot be confirmed, its underwater ridges, covered in massive barrel sponges, attract plenty of pelagic visitors. After the final dives, and weather permitting, Adelaar raises her sails for the journey back.
2 day dives

Day 8 - Ambon
After a final breakfast on board, it is time for guests to disembark in Ambon—until the next adventure.
