Route Description - Komodo Extended & Whale Sharks 10N

Embark in Serangan, Bali, and cruise overnight to Satonda and Moyo Islands for the first dives. Continue to Sangeang Volcano, then into Komodo National Park, exploring the north, central, and southern regions. Highlights include Komodo dragon trekking, manta encounters at Manta Alley, macro diving at Cannibal Rock, and drift dives in “current city.” The journey ends in Labuan Bajo after 10 days of world-class diving and exploration.

Day 1 - Serangan – Departure
Guests meet at Serangan Harbor (8:30 AM) before boarding Adelaar. The cruise begins along Bali’s coastline, with an overnight passage to Satonda Island and sunset views of Mt. Agung.

Day 2 - Moyo & Satonda (3–4 dives)
Morning dives at Pulau Moyo’s fringing reef, followed by Satonda’s coral slopes. After a night dive, Adelaar sails overnight to Sangeang.

Day 3 - Sangeang Volcano (2 dives + night dive)
Diving along black sand slopes with bubbling sulfur vents creates a unique “underwater jacuzzi.” Night dive at anchor.

Day 4 - North Komodo (3–4 dives)
Exploration of Gili Lawa Laut’s reefs and currents. Night dive along the outer edge of Komodo Bay.

Day 5 - Komodo Island & Lehok Sera (3 dives)
Morning hike with rangers to see Komodo dragons. Afternoon dives along Komodo’s coast and a dusk dive at Lehok Sera in search of mandarin fish.

Day 6 - South Komodo & Rinca (3–4 dives)
Dives at Manta Alley followed by Nusa Kode, framed by towering cliffs. Komodo dragons are often spotted on the beach. A night dive follows.

Day 7 - South Rinca & Padar (3–4 dives)
Highlights include Cannibal Rock, a macro hotspot, and a sunset hike on Padar Island. Optional night dive.

Day 8 - Padar & North Rinca (3–4 dives)
Action-packed drift dives in “current city” with frequent manta sightings. Night dive at Wainilu.

Day 9 - Central Komodo (3–4 dives)
Dives around Gili Lawa Laut and Darat with evening anchorage in a quiet bay.

Day 10 - North Komodo (3 dives)
Final dives around Sebayor before preparing for disembarkation.

Day 11 - Labuan Bajo – Disembarkation
Arrival in Labuan Bajo by 7:00 AM. Guests disembark after breakfast.

Booking Conditions / Additional Costs / Marine Park Fees

Cancellations for Individual and Group Bookings: All cancellations must be made by fax or e-mail. The date that ADELAAR receives the cancellation of the booking by e-mail or fax is the date used to determine the cancellation penalty.

Cancellation penalties for individual bookings:
More than 90 Days - Loss of deposit. Less than 90 Days - Loss of full payment Less than 60 days prior to departure: 100% of the individual cruise price.

Cancellation penalties for group bookings:
More than 91 days prior to departure: forfeit of deposit.
Less than 90 days prior to departure: 100% of the group charter price.
Once an add-in Diving Komodo Itinerary becomes fully booked and closed for further bookings, no refunds will be given for cancellations. This information will be posted on our webpage schedule, as fully booked. Individual guests are responsible for checking the website prior to any cancellation.
A passenger who has booked into a scheduled Bali to Komodo trip, and who wishes to cancel, has the option to substitute another person (not already scheduled on the trip) into his space to avoid the cancellation penalty. Passenger substitution will be allowed up to three days prior to departure.
ADELAAR will not refund any money to passengers who fail to show for boarding on the trip departure date, whether this is due to missed airline connections or from the lack of proper paperwork required to enter the country, or any other reason. If an airline connection is missed, ADELAAR will make all efforts to arrange that the passenger can join the ADELAAR at some point in the itinerary. However, the cost to do so (airfare, small boat transport to ADELAAR, or any other cost involved) is solely the responsibility of the client.
If the customer interrupts or cuts short a trip for any reason, ADELAAR is not liable to refund any money to the customer. In cases of emergency such as personal illness or accident, ADELAAR will assist in all necessary arrangements for the passenger’s return travel. However, the cost of this is to be borne solely by the passenger.
For these reasons we strongly recommend the purchase of trip interruption insurance and/or trip cancellation insurance.
