Route Description - Ultimate Raja Ampat
Experience the best of Raja Ampat—dive iconic sites like Cape Kri, Blue Magic, and Manta Sandy in the Dampier Strait, and explore Misool’s wonders including Magic Mountain, Boo Windows, and Jellyfish Lake. Encounter manta rays, sharks, barracuda, and vibrant coral gardens, then end your adventure with a trek to Piaynemo for breathtaking lagoon views.
Day 1 – Sorong to Saonek
The journey begins in Sorong with a warm welcome aboard La Galigo. After orientation, guests sail to Saonek for relaxed check dives at Saonek and Saonek Jetty, encountering frogfish, cuttlefish, and walking sharks.
Day 2 – Dampier Strait
Dives at Chicken Reef, Lao Lao, Mioskon, and Batu Lima reveal sharks, turtles, and colorful corals. Evenings are spent unwinding on deck and enjoying sunset views.
Day 3 – Blue Magic & Cape Kri
Blue Magic and Cape Kri offer thrilling encounters with barracuda, mantas, and dense fish life. Later dives at Sawandarek and optional night dives showcase reef diversity.
Day 4 – Dampier & West Waigeo
Guests dive with mantas at Manta Sandy, explore the currents of Mayhem, and drift along Citrus Ridge. The night anchorage in Gam Bay offers another chance for macro night diving.
Day 5 – Mutus & Piaynemo
Yefnabi, Yeben, and Batu Rufus feature sharks, barracuda, and stunning reefscapes. In the afternoon, guests hike to Piaynemo’s iconic viewpoint before a night dive at Galaxy Jetty.
Day 6 – Piaynemo to Misool Crossing
My Reef and Melissa’s Garden provide one last Piaynemo dive day before sailing overnight toward Misool.
Day 7 – Wayil, Misool
Guests visit Jellyfish Lake and dive sites like Anchovies, Nudi Rock, and Wedding Cake—home to rich marine life and tiered coral gardens.
Day 8 – Fiabacet Region
Highlights include Kaleidoskop, Four Kings, and Neptune Sea Fan, with vivid corals and pygmy seahorses. The day ends with a calm lagoon dive and starlit dinner.
Day 9 – Warakaraket, Misool
Shadow Reef (Magic Mountain) offers manta and shark sightings, while Boo Windows dazzles with coral-covered swim-throughs.
Day 10 – More of Warakaraket
Further dives at Nudi Rock, Tank Rock, and Boo East showcase Misool’s underwater variety, with optional night dives for macro enthusiasts.
Day 11 – Wagmab & Return to Sorong
Final dives at Warna Berwarna and Andiamo feature colorful reefs and pelagic fish before a farewell dinner as La Galigo sails back to Sorong.
Day 12 – Disembark Sorong
After breakfast, guests disembark with memories of pristine reefs, majestic mantas, and the unforgettable beauty of Raja Ampat.
