Route Description - Raja Ampat & Triton Bay (Sorong-Kaimana)

Embark on an 11-day liveaboard adventure from Raja Ampat to Triton Bay aboard Adelaar. Begin in Sorong, then dive into Misool’s iconic sites—Wagmab’s critter havens, Fiabacet’s manta-rich reefs, and Balbulol’s dramatic lagoons. Continue to Pisang for pelagic encounters, then explore Papua’s wild coast. In Momon, dive vibrant seamounts and visit the scenic Kiti Kiti waterfall. Encounter whale sharks and ancient rock art in Namatote before reaching Triton Bay, home to walking sharks, soft coral gardens, and tranquil lagoons. Finish in Aiduma, enjoying relaxed reef dives before disembarking in Kaimana or Sorong, completing an unforgettable diving odyssey through Indonesia’s most biodiverse waters.

Day 1 – Sorong
Arrival, transfer to Adelaar, crew introduction, and cabin check-in. Sail toward Raja Ampat with a possible check dive, depending on boarding time.

Day 2 – Misool (Wagmab)
Explore Wagmab’s colorful soft corals and critters like frogfish, nudibranchs, and walking sharks on night dives. Lagoon and cavern tours by speedboat. 3 day dives, 1 night dive.

Day 3 – Misool (Fiabacet)
Dive vibrant reefs teeming with life—mantas, mobulas, trevallies, and baitballs of silversides. 3 day dives, 1 night dive.

Day 4 – Misool (Wayilbatan)
Seamounts rich in marine life, coral gardens, and pelagics. 3 day dives.

Day 5 – Misool (Balbulol)
Dive dramatic drop-offs and coral-covered walls at Two Tree Island and Love Potion. Lagoon tour of Balbulol’s karst formations. 2 day dives.

Day 6 – Pisang
Dives among ridges and seamounts with sharks, rays, and schooling fish. Sail overnight toward Papua. 3 day dives.

Day 7 – Momon
Dive coastal seamounts with trevallies and mantas, then visit Kiti Kiti waterfall or trek through the jungle. 3 day dives.

Day 8 – Namatote
Visit local fishing platforms to spot whale sharks (new moon season). Explore pinnacles, caverns, and prehistoric rock art. 3 day dives.

Day 9 – Triton Bay
Dive rich coral reefs filled with critters and endemic walking sharks. Lagoon speedboat tour through limestone formations. 3 day dives, 1 night dive.

Day 10 – Aiduma
Soft coral-covered coves and islets with schools of snappers, sweetlips, and wobbegongs. 2 day dives.

Day 11 – Kaimana / Sorong
Early morning arrival and disembarkation. Airport or hotel transfer after breakfast.

Booking Conditions / Additional Costs / Marine Park Fees

Cancellations for Individual and Group Bookings: All cancellations must be made by fax or e-mail. The date that ADELAAR receives the cancellation of the booking by e-mail or fax is the date used to determine the cancellation penalty.

Cancellation penalties for individual bookings:
More than 90 Days - Loss of deposit. Less than 90 Days - Loss of full payment Less than 60 days prior to departure: 100% of the individual cruise price.

Cancellation penalties for group bookings:
More than 91 days prior to departure: forfeit of deposit.
Less than 90 days prior to departure: 100% of the group charter price.
Once an add-in Diving Komodo Itinerary becomes fully booked and closed for further bookings, no refunds will be given for cancellations. This information will be posted on our webpage schedule, as fully booked. Individual guests are responsible for checking the website prior to any cancellation.
A passenger who has booked into a scheduled Bali to Komodo trip, and who wishes to cancel, has the option to substitute another person (not already scheduled on the trip) into his space to avoid the cancellation penalty. Passenger substitution will be allowed up to three days prior to departure.
ADELAAR will not refund any money to passengers who fail to show for boarding on the trip departure date, whether this is due to missed airline connections or from the lack of proper paperwork required to enter the country, or any other reason. If an airline connection is missed, ADELAAR will make all efforts to arrange that the passenger can join the ADELAAR at some point in the itinerary. However, the cost to do so (airfare, small boat transport to ADELAAR, or any other cost involved) is solely the responsibility of the client.
If the customer interrupts or cuts short a trip for any reason, ADELAAR is not liable to refund any money to the customer. In cases of emergency such as personal illness or accident, ADELAAR will assist in all necessary arrangements for the passenger’s return travel. However, the cost of this is to be borne solely by the passenger.
For these reasons we strongly recommend the purchase of trip interruption insurance and/or trip cancellation insurance.
