Route Description - Daedalus-Rocky Island-Zabargad-St. Johns-Elba Reef

                            Daedalus Reef 
Daedalus Reef features steep walls and a southern plateau that drops from 30 to 40 meters, blanketed in vibrant corals and marine life. Turtles and schooling fish are common, while closer inspection reveals scorpionfish, stonefish, and snails. Hammerhead and thresher sharks often visit the area, especially at the northwest tip. Along the west side lies Anemone City, a stunning stretch of anemones teeming with fusiliers and surgeonfish. 
 
St. Johns 
Located near the Sudanese border, St. Johns is a vast reef system rising from a massive underwater plateau. It offers numerous exceptional dive sites with dramatic topography and rich marine biodiversity. 
 
Zabargad 
 
Zabargad Island, known since ancient times for its olivine mines, features a southern wall with spectacular coral formations and scenic swim-throughs. Its crystal-clear waters host a colorful array of marine life. 
 
Rocky Island 
Rocky Island offers submerged rocks and sandy bottoms dotted with staghorn and hard corals. Divers may encounter leopard and whitetip reef sharks, turtles, and giant trevallies. With depths reaching 39 meters and strong currents, it is ideal for experienced divers.
 
Elba Reef 
Situated near the Egyptian-Sudanese border, Elba Reef is triangular with plateaus on both ends ranging from 20 to 45 meters. It features vibrant coral fans and the wreck of SS Isola di Levanzo, a century-old ship surrounded by scattered relics. The reef teems with diverse species, from colorful reef fish to visiting sharks.
